About

Brandon Murphy — Artist Bio

Born in 1974 and raised on a farm, Brandon Murphy’s creative journey has been anything but conventional — from college basketball courts to 29 years in the advertising world. Today, he channels that kinetic energy into mixed media paintings that are part emotion, part storytelling, and fully unapologetic.

Murphy works primarily on canvas, layering spray paint, vintage books, street art grit, and hand-written poetry into visual statements that hum with contrast. Each piece is a collision of old and new — science and soul, memory and movement — where curiosity and raw feeling take center stage.

Obsessed with vintage materials and fueled by music, sci-fi, history, and the strange poetry of life itself, Brandon paints not to impress but to feel, to question, and to learn.

He’s shown work at Serenbe Art Show, Chat Hills Gallery, Gallery Anderson Smith (Atlanta), the GA Lawyers Art Show at King Plow, Blue Eyed Daisy, and Enzo at Trilith.
